1st of April KWE Switzerland Ltd. started as a fully owned subsidiary of KWE Japan with business locations in Bassersdorf/Zurich-Airport and Geneva Airport with main activity in Air Freight.

Adding FCL and LCL Sea Freight Service to the portfolio.

In January, KWE Zurich opened its own bonded Air Freight Terminal with full aviation security status (FOCA approved, regulated Agent). -
In May KWE Switzerland started feeding KWE Germany's Gateway in Frankfurt to offer the newly designed IDS-Service (Intact Delivery Service) to its Swiss clientele. Self palletized ULD's. No third parties involved. -
In January, KWE Switzerland invented the 'green Smiley' Service in co-operation with the myClimate Organisation to allow our customers to offset the CO2 emissions, caused by the airfreight transportation. In July, release of the country specific Website www.kwe-switzerland.com. -
